Dear friends,
Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed!
The victory of Jesus Christ over death has opened eternal life for all who trust Him. But as St. Paul notes in Ephesians 1:19-20, the same power God used to raise Jesus from the dead is also at work in believers, providing them with “mini-resurrections” in this life.
Over its 35 years, ICDM has experienced many of these “mini-resurrections” where God has brought life out of what seemed to be dead ends in the lives of Haitians and Dominicans. Earthquakes, hurricanes, epidemics, political strife—none of these proved to be more powerful than our God who brings life out of death. God has always managed to break through with new life for us, and that is why we are still going strong feeding and educating children, equipping Christian leaders to share the Good News about Jesus and transform their communities, helping families become financially independent, and healing people through our medical clinic.
