Dear Friend of ICDM,
The fourth chapter of 2 Timothy admonishes us to preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season, to correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and careful instruction. We also are to keep our heads in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and discharge all the duties of our ministry (2 Timothy 4:5 NIV). ICDM has been standing in the gap for over 30 years training people to effectively serve where God has called them. I thank you and I praise God for your partnership which makes the International Christian Development Mission, Inc. such an impactful ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Despite the political turmoil in Haiti, ICDM continues to thrive. Our greatest difficulty has been the fuel shortage that tends to stagnate all traveling activities within the land. But even this crippling situation cannot hold us back. We have trained workers from North to South and from East to West. God is using those disciples to flourish where they had been planted. Ten Mobile Bible Schools are serving 385 students. They are in Lafendrie, Gola, La Croix Saint Joseph, Dubois, Port-de-Paix (Northwest State); in Savane Marc, Plaine Batel, Dubois, Platon Chery, Gonaives, (Artibonite State); Savanette Cabral, Mattapoete, Belladere (Central State); Belamy, Bainet (SouthEast State); Grand Vincent, Priville, Beaumont (Grand’Anse, Southwest State); Jacquet Tybull, Petion-Ville, Delmas (Port-au-Prince, West State); etc. |
